january do something: the wrap-up

(chia seeds in black and while look like glitter, eh?)
I just did my final walk of January so I can officially put this one firmly in the "done" category. And I'm calling this one a success despite that small setback earlier in the month when I was flat on my back for close to 4 days.

Vitamins, chia, apple cider vinegar, at least 64 oz water...every day (with the exception of said 4 days) no problem. My goal was to average at least 2 miles a day on the treadmill (or outside, if possible...that just doesn't really happen in Michigan in January) I ended up at 58.5 miles. Not quite there but again, that 4 pesky days...hoping to do better in February.

The point is, I'm back on the wagon and have positive habits that I can build on. Even though February will focus on a different goal, I'll keep this up and maybe even add in some additional activity (Jillian Michaels, I've got my eye on you.)

Today, I'm putting the finishing touches on my February do something. I'll share my plan tomorrow!

    1. It's one of those miracle cures that is supposed to help with everything, lol. It's supposed to help weight loss and high blood pressure and diabetes (none of which I need it for) but also to ward off colds and sinus issues, help with skin and hair (mine is terrible in the winter!) digestion, leg cramps (I get really twitchy legs at night and sometimes leg cramps (not as often)

Honestly, it could just be a placebo effect but I don't think it is. My hair is definitely softer and less dry than it normally is this time of year, my digestion is great (it wasn't a big problem before but now, no issues) no twitchy legs, no sinus headaches (which is HUGE for me)

Placebo effect or not, I'm feeling a lot better! Could just be the water though ;)

  5. I really like your picture of all you stuff. Very inspiring! I read your reply to nic about your twitchy legs. Has the apple cider vinegar worked? I have twitchy legs too. And how much do you drink?

    1. I think it does! Like I said, it could be all in my head but I feel better in so many different ways, I'm sure it's having a positive effect. I put one tablespoon in a full bottle of water (mine is 24 oz) The vinegar taste is definitely still noticeable but it doesn't bother me. Some people mix in some honey to improve the taste but I don't think it's necessary. Its worth a shot (I hope if you try it it helps you...those twitches are so irritating!)
